wlibert@mail.nlhealth.org Learning From Those Who Learn From You When taking medications and seeing counselors just isn't enough for you. Do you ever ask yourself “Is this all I have to look forward to?” Perhaps you are at a place in your recovery that you want to share your experience, strength and hope. For some reason or another you feel you must remain anonymous. You have this burning desire to share your successes in life and to learn from others. Are there nights you would like to have meeting to go to. Are you looking for a safe, stigma free, non judgmental environment, a meeting where there is structure and education? I have found such a place and I have been selected for training to be an online peer facilitator there. I would like to share with you such place on the Internet. The meetings are facilitated by people that believe in self direction and the philosophy of people helping people. Each and every one of us is gifted to be both teachers and students in life. Our experiences are so enriched with knowledge and success not to share them would be robbing someone else of your value. I encourage everyone that lives with a mood disorder to share what has worked for you and learn from others and how they found empowerment.
